Top Hallyu star Bae Yong-joon’s photo essay “Discovering the Beauty of Korea,” which has been sold in both Korea and Japan, will also go on the shelves of Taiwan.
Bae’s agency KEYEAST announced through a press release on Tuesday that the Taiwanese version, completed after a year-long period of translation, will go on sale in the country starting today.
“We had constantly received requests and inquiries regarding the book’s publication not only from fans but also regular readers. We’re hoping it will be received well by people of all ages since it serves as a guidebook to Korea’s culture instead of being the typical star -related book, “the book’s Taiwanese publisher SBOOKER explained.
KEYEAST added that a Chinese and English version of Bae’s photo essay are also set to be published.
“Discovering” had entered into its 13th print a month after going on sale in Korea in late September last year and a re-print in three days of its release in Japan.
The book contains photographs of various cultural artisans that the actor met during his travels, as well as introductions to Korean culture and travel locations which Bae compiled over a one-year period.

The Drama in which Bae Yong Joon and Park Jin Young will be appearing will start the shooting at the end of October in Goyang.

‘Dream High’ will start the shooting at the end of October and will be broadcasted from January 3rd next year. It consists of 16 episodes.
With the art school background, it will describe the growing process of four talented students. It is a youth drama that two males and two female students lead. These four students will challenge each other for love and friendship, one of them will become a winner of 2017 Grammy Awards, which is best music award, and he/she will stand as the best entertainer worldwide.
The name of the main cast who stands up as a worldwide star is ‘Kay (Key?)’. But this ‘Kay’ among these four students will not be disclosed until the middle of the drama, and will be disclosed in the last episode, 16th episode.

Yes,as you have already known I visited the Goguryo Blacksmith Town from the drama “the king & four guardians”. The photos bring back your memory of this drama,right?There was a stone face which looks like human face.It is said to be resemble to Yonsama(Bae Yong-jun).I really wanted to walk up there to see how it looks like.Unfortunately ,due to the heavy rain we were not able to go…

Actor, Bae Yong Joon and broadcaster, Hong Jin Kyung were the winners in the survey, which male and female entertainer has an outstanding sense of business?
Apple Capital, the company specializes in the funding, conducted the survey, which male and female entertainer has an outstanding sense of business? The survey was conducted from August 10 to 30, a total of 613 people were surveyed. Bae Yong Joon (379 votes, 61.8%) and Hong Jin Kyung (367 votes, 59.8%) were chosen as the winners of male and female categories.
Apple Capital commented, “Hallyu star Bae Yong Joon has various planning abilities, kind and orderly image, and detailed business planning ability.”

Choi Seong, the mayor of the city of Goyang, signed MOU to support the production of the Hallyu drama ‘Dream High’ in which BYJ and PJY will be appearing.
First step to become a Hallyu cultural city, Goyang.
On September 2, 2010, Choi Seong, the mayor of the city of Goyang signed MOU with Kim Pil Ryo (chairman of Goyang city council), Jeong Wook and Yang Geun Ywan (CEOs of the Hollim, the production company of the drama ‘Dream High’), and Lee Gwan Hoon (CEO of CJ Media) to vitalize the imagery tourism of Goyang at the video conference room in the City Hall. It is the first step for the Hallyu cultural city of Goyang.
The major contents of the MOU are to attract tourists through the imagery tourism, employment creation including making appearances in minor roles, attracting the industry relating the unification of broadcasting, video, and communication, improving the value of the city, and cooperation to vitalize the local economics. International Hallyu stars including Bae Yong Joon and Park Jin Young will be appearing in ‘Dream High’.
To achieve the goal of the imagery tourism, the city of Goyang and production company decided to cooperate for the introduction of the city of Goyang through various methods like operating the Familiarization Tour of the potential areas for the tourist attraction including the lakeside park, Lafesta, Western Dome Street, Latin America Cultural Center, and the Haeju Fortress and using the discovered areas for the shootings sites when the broadcasting of the drama starts.
At the signing ceremony, Choi Seong, the mayor of Goyang, said, “Signing MOU with the production company for the mutual cooperation to support the production of the KBS drama ‘Dream High’ in which Hally Star Bae Yong Joon and the best music producer and singer of Korea, Park Jin Young, appear will be a turning point to make the city of Goyang an international tourism city or Hallyu cultural city.”, and he showed his expectations on the developments to become Hallyu Cultural City, Goyang from the visits of Japanese and Chinese tourists by saying, “If this project is successful, we expect lots of revenues including additional incomes, but it will also make the city of Goyang become a popular Hallyu cultural city.”
